Morgan Library & Museum

The Morgan houses the preeminent collection of financier Pierpont Morgan and his son J.P.'s collection of original compositions by Mozart and Beethoven, Gutenberg Bibles, and numerous drawings and manuscripts. The library is worth visiting for the buildings themselves: the original 1900 McKim, Mead & White library, the 1928 Annex (former home of Jack Morgan), and the capacious, newly completed Renzo Piano addition.
