The Cloisters

At the northern tip of Manhattan, on four acres more reminiscent of France than America, you can find a spectacular afternoon of delight in the Medieval collection of art and architecture gifted to the city in 1925 by John D. Rockefeller. These Medieval French Cloisters in arts, artifacts, and architecture provide a refreshing break from the pace and heat of the city.
